What Are Groups?
Groups are organizational tools that help you categorize and manage related items together. You can create groups for customers, resources, or services to streamline scheduling and improve organization.

Common Group Uses
Groups can serve various purposes depending on your business needs:
- Customer Groups - Organize clients by service type, membership level, or location
- Resource Groups - Categorize staff by department, equipment by type, or rooms by building
- Service Groups - Group services by category, duration, or pricing tier
Creating a New Group
To create a group:
- Navigate to the Groups section in your workspace
- Click "Create Group" or the "+" button
- Enter a clear, descriptive name for the group
- Add a description that explains the group's purpose
- Select the group type (customers, resources, or services)
- Click "Save" to create the group
Adding Items to a Group
To add items to a group:
- Open the item you want to add (customer, resource, or service)
- Find the Groups section in the item details
- Click "Add to Group"
- Select the group from the dropdown menu
- Enable the toggle switch to activate group membership
- Save your changes
Note: Items can belong to multiple groups. For example, a client who takes both vocal and guitar lessons can be in both the "Vocal Students" and "Guitar Students" groups.
Removing Items from a Group
To remove an item from a group:
- Open the item details
- Find the Groups section
- Locate the group you want to remove
- Disable the toggle switch or click the remove icon
- Save your changes
Editing Groups
To modify a group:
- Go to the Groups section
- Find the group you want to edit
- Click the edit icon or group name
- Update the name or description
- Click "Save"
Deleting Groups
To delete a group:
- Navigate to the Groups section
- Find the group you want to remove
- Click the delete icon or ellipses
- Confirm the deletion
Note: Deleting a group does not delete the items within it. It only removes the grouping category.
Using Groups for Scheduling
Groups can improve your scheduling workflow by:
- Filtering available resources by group
- Viewing appointments for specific customer groups
- Assigning services based on group membership
- Creating reports for specific groups
